SD CARD cannot open filesystem

harry_topshelftechno

I am trying to sync the squirell library to the SD Card but it fails with 'can not access filesystem'. I have upgraded to .05 of EOS.

Does the SD card show up in the IDE file list? If so, can you create and save a file on it?

harry_topshelftechno

The card does show up in the IDE but does not show any folders. I have created the lib folder via my computer. It is a 32GB card formatted as FAT322 (29GB after formatted).

I assume this is an SDHC card? I know we don't support SDXC. Do you know the cluster size you used for the FAT32?

harry_topshelftechno

It is an SDHC card. 8GB (not the 32GB one) 4K cluster size.

solved it: Format the drive with 2048 cluster size. Anything smaller caused an error - cluster size too small for the filesystem. Formated under WinXP using Disk Management (not right click from Windows Explorer )and then selecting 2K cluster size.
